This is an incredibly competent album. i honestly can't find any weak parts and i've had it on repeat at work for over a week now. could be my aoty.

The epic final is indeed awesome but I thought the whole album was.

As I said in the Chapter 2 thread, these are a recent discovery for me.

Yeah same. They're just a phenomenal pair of albums.

I'm really psyched to see where they go next.

I had to go back and check out the rest of this trilogy after listening to chaper III which impressed me alot, and part I is just as good as I imagined it would be. They do such a brilliant job at creating this unique atmosphere, unlike anything I've heard or felt.

The atmosphere somehow gives you a vivid picture in your imagination of the sheer terrors of what it would have been like for the soldiers during The Great War. The Silent Night chant at the end sends shivers down my spine.

This band makes really unique music! But the new additions are unique musicians: the bass player and the drummer! Vocals and guitar are unadulterated! But Kaisera steals the points!😁
