I'm not talking about cars. But while there are certainly regions where EVs are at a physical disadvantage, Norway happens to the country with the most EVs per capita. And it happens to be the 4th coldest country in the world.
The wildest thing to me in the political discussion is the point about jobs lost if we moved away from fossil fuels. When there is a whole renewable energy industry with insane growth potential right there.
It's not fine and the acceleration could be prevented. But unfortunately people would rather side with convenient conspiracy theories than actual scientist.
