Biography
Bronze, formerly known as Kramp, is an international traditional heavy metal powerhouse fronted by Mina Walkure on vocals. Alongside her, the band’s journey began in 2010 with her brother Lap on bass, aiming to revive the classic heavy metal tradition that seemed to be lacking around that time.
The band is completed with Cederick Forsberg on guitars & Billy Qvarnström as live drummer.
In 2016, their blazing debut EP ‘Wield Revenge’ was released, receiving an immediate positive response from fans and the media. Building on this success, they further established their presence in 2020 with their first full-length album ‘Gods of Death’.
Both releases highlight and showcase the strong influence of classic of 80s classic 80s heavy metal genres such as epic heavy metal, teutonic metal, US Power Metal, New Wave of British Heavy Metal, neo-classical, and speed metal, infused with elements of medieval folklore and classical melodies.
The band’s aesthetic and visuals, both on and off stage, reflect these elements, aligning music, graphics, and stage props to enhance the storytelling experience.
Fast-forward to 2023, a name change to Bronze was announced, followed by the release of their second full-length album ‘In Chains and Shadows‘ in 2024.
