The Coexistence project was born in August 2008. It all started with the first virtual meeting of Grégory Giraudo (guitars) and Carl Lindquist (vocals). Greg had just started thinking about creating a new project out of the ashes of Lyrae, his previous band, when he found a video of Carl, covering some Iced Earth songs, and was immediately convinced that Carl was the ideal singer for this new project. The distance between the two fellows, one living in South France while the other living in Stockholm Sweden, would have been a big issue if it wasn't for this magic tool called Internet, which allowed them to work together and let their respective musical talent to coexist in the same vessel. They started exchanging ideas and pieces of music, and began recording their first demo in November 2008. This 4 tracks demo is just being released, and is called "Carrion Comfort". The music and vocals portrayed here are vaguely precisely described in an absolutely not pompous way by their two authors as "fuckin-kickass-straight-to-the-point Heavy Metal with some Progressive and Country (!!) elements" Nothing less than that !! Carrion Comfort marks only the beginning of a lot more things to come hopefully very soon.
