Beseech - New Album Coming In 2016, Details Unveiled
After coming back from a hiatus, Swedish gothic metal act Beseech released a few new singles last year. It was the first taste of new material from the outfit in years. Hellfest 2016 - Lineup Announced
The organizers want to make Hellfest 2016 one of the most memorable yet and they have made the first announcement of bands that will head to France next summer to perform live on 17-18-19 June 2016. Distorted Harmony - Confirmed For ProgPower Europe 2016
Distorted Harmony are the fifth band that is confirmed to perform at the ProgPower Europe 2016, that will be held in JC Sjiwa, Baarlo, The Netherlands from September 30th through October 2nd 2016. Belphegor - Present New Track, New Album In 2016
The diabolical death/black metal force Belphegor is working on new material. In fact, as of now you can check out an exclusive clip of the Austrian outfit playing the new track "Totenkult - Exegesis Of Deterioration", recorded live right in their "rehearsal bunker", tracked and edited by Jakob Klingsbigl, and filmed by blood brother Barth Resch. This song will be included on the upcoming album, scheduled for a late 2016 release date which follows Conjuring The Dead.

Download Festival 2016 - Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath And Rammstein Headlining
UK's Download Festival 2016 brought the big guns and announced their three big headliners for 2016. The triple-threat bill includes the headliners for next year's Download Festival: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Rammstein. Rammstein will headline the Friday night. Black Sabbath will return to Donington to headline the Saturday night. Their appearance at Download Festival will form part of their worldwide The End tour, as they sign off their 50-year career. Iron Maiden will headline the Sunday night of Download Festival 2016. The British metal gods will headline Castle Donington for the sixth time on June 12th, 2016, and they'll be arriving at the festival site in true Maiden style.

Wormed - New Album Coming In March 2016
After entering the studio earlier this year, the technical death metal powerhouse Wormed just announced the release date for their new album and more! Krighsu will be the name of their third album to date and Season Of Mist will release it come March 18th, 2016. Death Angel - To Enter Studio, New Album In 2016
Death Angel will enter the studio on October 9th to begin tracking a new album to follow The Dream Calls For Blood. Green Carnation - 'Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness' Anniversary Shows In 2016
It seems like 2016 could be a memorable year for Green Carnation. At least, their fans will be able to enjoy the 60-minute concept song masterpiece Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness being performed live with a full production on the album's 15th anniversary. Iron Maiden - To Embark On World Tour In 2016
Prepare for an Iron Maiden world domination as the legendary heavy metal band is preparing to embark on a world tour next year in support of the upcoming double album, The Book Of Souls which will be released worldwide next week on September 4th. And they have already dropped a few hints on the destinations. They are taking touring to a new level using a Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jet (aka Queen of the Skies) for their World Tour next year. The new Ed Force One will take the band, crew and over 12 tons of equipment more than 55,000 miles (88,500km) around the planet with concerts in six of the seven continents (Australasia, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Europe) with the tour expected to visit around 35 countries.

Chthe'ilist - Debut Album Coming In 2016
Chthe'ilist will be releasing their debut album next year, it has been announced. The Canadian death metallers will finally release a follow-up to their demo Amechth'ntaas'm'rriachth. Their debut full-length, Le Dernier Crépuscule, will be mixed by Greg Chandler of Esoteric in the coming weeks, and will be mastered by Brad Boatright at the end of the month. The release date, tracklist and painting by Paolo Girardi will be revealed later. The album will have about 50 minutes of music and will be released by Profound Lore Records (CD/digital), Dark Descent Records (vinyl) and Graceless Recordings (cassette).
