Ancient Rites - Sign To Massacre Records, Announce New Album

Ancient Rites, the quartet hailing from Belgium and The Netherlands formed back in the 80s, has joined the Massacre Records family. During the band's history, Ancient Rites overcame several blows of fate, including band members passing away or bad experiences with promoters and labels. But all this didn't stop the band from continuing their journey. The group is returning and their upcoming sixth studio album Laguz marks a new chapter in the band's history and is the first since 2006.

Massacre - Terry Butler And Ed Webb Leave, Cancel Tour

Things aren't looking good for Massacre. The Death Dta Tours has informed that due to several factors, the death metallers will not be taking part in the Symbolic 20th Anniversary European tour in late February/March 2015. Unfortunately, Massacre also had to cut their participation in the Swamp Leper Stomp '14 tour with DTA, Obituary and Rivers Of Nihil by one show. Bassist Terry Butler and vocalist Ed Webb issued joint statements indicating that they have left the band.

Legendary Florida death metallers Massacre will release their long-awaited comeback album, Back From Beyond, on March 24th in Europe and April 1st in North America via Century Media Records. Massacre are returning to the roots of their early 90's trademark sound, the album was recorded and mixed by Tim Vazquez of CGM Studios, Florida, and features original members Rick Rozz (guitars, ex-Mantas/Death), Terry Butler (bass, Obituary, ex-Death / Six Feet Under) as well as Ed Webb (vocals, ex-Diabolic / Eulogy) and Mike Mazzonetto (drums, ex-Pain Principle).
