Inquisition - To Co-Headline European Tour With Rotting Christ

Colombian black metal duo Inquisition will team up with Rotting Christ for a co-headlining European tour this coming October/November. Together with Mystifier and Schammasch as support acts, Bloodshed Rituals European tour will encompass 27 shows in 16 territories. All confirmed dates can be seen down under.

Rotting Christ - Share New Lyric Video

The Greek metallers Rotting Christ continue to promote their newest creation, Rituals. Today, they have released their first official lyric video for the track "For A Voice Like Thunder". Interestingly, the animation was created by Manster Design and the video also features a special guest recitation by Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost). The song lyrics are based in English poet William Blake's "Poetical Sketches - Prologue, intended for a Dramatic Piece of King Edward the Fourth."

Rotting Christ - To Change Name For South Africa Shows

Rotting Christ will be changing their name temporarily for their shows in South Africa in July to appease religious protestors, it has just been revealed. According to Witchdoctor Productions, who were behind the country's Witchfest event which last year was also the target of protests, the name is changed on the digital poster, Facebook event and mass marketing, but they will use their normal backdrop and the tickets are still labelled as Rotting Christ. There is no word about what name the band will take for the South Africa dates as of yet. Hopefully, it will be something creative.

Rotting Christ - Reveal Third New Song

Rotting Christ continue to reveal songs from their upcoming album Rituals. This is the third and last preview of a new song, and it is called "זה נגמר (Ze Nigmar)." The song is written in Aramaic which is the language that Jesus spoke in his time. It translates to "It Is Done" and refers to his last spoken words as he died on the cross.

Rotting Christ - Premiere New Track

A new Rotting Christ track has just premiered online. Eager fans can listen to the second track revealed from the album, called "In Nomine Dei Nostri" which also opens the record. Rotting Christ - Stream New Song, Cover Revealed

Rotting Christ recently announced that they are releasing their new album, Rituals, on the 12th of February next year. Today, they are sharing the tracklist, cover as well as one of the new songs, "Ἐλθὲ Κύριε (Elthe Kyrie)." It translates to "Come Lord" and is based on a theatrical work from ancient Greece. Rotting Christ - Share New Album Title, Release Date

After releasing their first ever live album, Lucifer Over Athens, Greek melodic black metallers Rotting Christ have released a bit of information about their upcoming 2016 release. The album is to be titled Rituals and is due for a February 12th release. More information is expected soon according to the band's Facebook page. For now, the record is being described as their "darkest esoteric release ever."

According to Rotting Christ's Facebook page, the band has entered the studio to begin the recordings for a new album. The album is scheduled for release in "early 2016".
