French industrial/electro black metallers Pavillon Rouge, featuring members of Crystalium, Osirion and Sybreed, have unveiled details about their debut album entitled Solmeth Pervitine. The album was recorded at the Hiroshima Studios, the artwork was created by Malavita and it was released through Post Apocalyptic Music. Megadeth - Bassist Wants To Be A Lutheran Pastor

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Megadeth's bassist Dave Ellefson is an online student in the Specific Ministry Program at Concordia Seminary.

"Most people want to be a rock star," said Jon Bjorgaard, pastor of the Lutheran church in Scottsdale, AZ, where Ellefson and his family are congregants. "David's a rock star who wants to become a pastor."

Folkstone - Announce New Album Title And Italian Tour Dates

Italian folk metallers Folkstone have announced that their new album will be entitled Il Confine. The band will unveil the album tracklist and cover art soon. Sonisphere Festival - First Names Announced

The fourth edition of the Sonisphere festival in Spain will return to Getafe with Metallica as headliners, where they will play the Black Album in its entirety. Joining them will be Soundgarden, Slayer, Within Temptation, Mastodon, Children Of Bodom, Kyuss, Gojira, Clutch, Orange Goblin, Skindred, Ghost, Sister and Vita Imana, with more names still to be announced. The festival will take place through May 25th-26th and feature three stages and thirty artists. Tickets go on sale on January 31st.

Badfare State - Unveil Debut EP Details

Spanish crossover thrash metallers Badfare State have announced that the band has finished recording their debut EP entitled Socially Dead, which includes four tracks that blend old school thrash metal, hardcore/punk, heavy metal and rock. The band is currently searching for a label to release the EP, as well as a bassist and a second guitarist to complete their line-up. The song "Rich Men's War" is streaming online at their official MySpace page.

Galneryus - New Video Online, To Release New DVD

"Fist Of The Blue Sky", a brand new video from Japanese power metallers Galneryus is now streaming online and you can watch it below. The song is featured on the band's recently released mini album 絆 (Kizuna) and is the theme song of the game Pachinko. The band also announced the release of a new DVD entitled Phoenix Living In The Rising Sun, set for a March 28th release. The performance was recorded at Shibuya AX and the DVD will come with a bonus live CD.

Korpiklaani - Announce New Album Title, Track Available For Download

Finnish folk metallers Korpiklaani have announced on their official Facebook page that the title of the band's upcoming album will be Kunnia, due to be released in August via Nuclear Blast Records. "Metsälle", a brand new track has also been made available for download. The song was originally recorded last year when the band was competing to represent Finland in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. To download the new track, go to this location.

Deep Purple - New Album To Be Released In 2013

British hard-rock legends Deep Purple have announced on their official website that their new album will only be released in 2013. They decided to extend their writing and recording period through the summer of 2012. The last album the band released was back in 2005 (Rapture Of The Deep).

Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan commented: "We know we will disappoint some of our fans this summer. However, we look forward very much to our autumn/winter tour and continuing our worldwide tour with our new album in 2013."

Italian progressive metallers Sunpocrisy have finished mixing and mastering their debut album titled Samaroid Dioramas, which was recorded between August and October 2011. The record is a concept album with 54 minutes of music, engineered by Riccardo Pasini at Studio 73 in Ravenna, Italy. The band also revealed the album's tracklist and four different cover arts.
