Fell Voices - Live Performance And New Album Updates

American droning black metallers Fell Voices have released the following information in regards to a new album and live appearance:

"In April 2012, Fell Voices will be performing alongside Ash Borer, Sleepwalker, Thou, and many others as part of the Gilead Media Music Festival in Oskosh, WI. Specifics regarding the full line-up, ticketing, lodging, set times, etc. can be found here. As of now, this the only Fell Voices appearance planned for 2012.

Fell Voices has also begun recording a new LP. All information regarding release dates, labels, etc. will be posted here when they have been decided."

And for those of us who can't wait that long to listen to some Fell Voices...

German folk metallers Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have recently announced the supporting bands for their The Greatest Of The Best European Tour 2012. With 20 stations in England, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Germany (see the dates below), they will tour together with two different band lineups.

Pathfinder - In The Studio, Announce New Drummer

Polish power metal band Pathfinder has announced that they have finished writing the follow-up to 2010's Beyond The Space, Beyond The Time, to be released next year. The band also announced Kacper Stachowiak as their new drummer.

They posted the following on their official website: "All compositions for 2nd album, the next chapter of Beyond The Space, Beyond The Time are finished! Last full of work 4 days we spent in studio recording the drums..."

Darkest Hour - Part Ways With Drummer

US metallers Darkest Hour have issued the following update on the band's Facebook page:

"Yes it is true, Darkest Hour has parted ways with drummer Ryan Parrish. We wish him well (you will seem him rocking in many projects no doubt please check them out, they will all rip!).

For now his duties have been filled by drummer Timothy Java (Dead To Fall). Tim did an amazing job on our recent European tour with Machine Head. As for the future that's open for discussion - no permanent decisions have been made in any way."

Savage Circus - Piet Sielck Leaves The Band

German power metallers Savage Circus have announced the departure of guitarist Piet Sielck. You can read his statement below.

"After long and intensive thinking I came to the conclusion that I cannot uphold any further engagement for Savage Circus any more and hereby officially quit. I am proud of what has been achieved, but I just cannot imagine myself doing songwriting and production more or less completely alone for a third time. This has drained too much energy in the past already, which was needed in more important spots. I am not willing to make such a sacrifice again."

Suicidal Angels - New Song Streaming Online

Greek thrashers Suicidal Angels have posted a new track online, entitled "Let The Bloodbath Begin", taken from their upcoming album Bloodbath, due out on January 27th, 2012, via NoiseArt Records. This album features cover artwork by Ed Repka, who has previously worked with Megadeth and Death. Bloodbath was recorded at Prophecy & Music Factory Studios in Kempten, Germany, with Greek producer Roberto Dimitri Liapakis. More album details here. You can listen to the new track below.

German brutal death metallers Resurrected will enter the studio next week, on December 27th, to begin recording their new yet-untitled EP. The band posted the following short update on their MySpace page: "On December 27th we'll start to record our yet untitled EP finally. High On Fire - Enter The Studio To Record New Album

US stoner metallers High On Fire have entered Salem, Massachusetts' GodCity Studios to begin recording their yet untitled new album. The band is collaborating with producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou on the new effort, the band's sixth studio album and the follow-up to 2010's Snakes For The Divine. The album is expected to be released on mid-2012 through eOne Music.

ETHS - New Album Cover Art And Tracklist Revealed

French female-fronted metallers ETHS will release their third album, III, on March 2, 2012 in Europe (March 12 in North America) via Season Of Mist. The CD was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Fredrik Nordström, who has previously worked with At The Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy and Soilwork, among others.

Descendant XII, the new upcoming album from Malaysian melodic black metal band Hayagriva will be released on January 1st, 2012 via Khakan Production (Malaysia).
