Joe Comeau, ex-vocalist of Annihilator, Liege Lord and Overkill, has joined Swedish prog power metallers Tad Morose, after former singer Urban Breed has left after 10 years in the band in December 2005. Joe Comeau posted the following statement on the band's official website:

"What can I say? Obviously I am very honored to be the new vocalist for the great Tad Morose! I would first like to thank all the Tad guys for bringing me on board. Work has already begun on awesome new Tad Morose material and I am psyched as hell to move ahead on creating a killer new CD with these guys. I am also looking forward to our upcoming shows so I can meet all the Tad faithful and friends alike! Make sure you come and have a drink with us. See ya soon! Cheers, Joe Comeau."

Guitarist Gus G. decided to leave the band, the following statement from him is posted on Nightrage webiste:

"Hello friends!

Hope this message finds you all well. After long discussions with Marios we both decided that it"s best for me to stop playing with Nightrage.

The reason behind this decision is that I simply don"t have enough time these days to write, rehearse and tour with the band, whenever they decide to do so.

I"ve felt bad that I couldn"t tour 100% with Nightrage and only played selected shows. Nightrage IS an active band and needs its members to be there 100%.

The new line-up is killer and everyone gets along. I don"t wanna be the weak link. On the other hand, I need to give my own band (Firewind) full attention as well.

So from now on, we go separate ways. However, we decided to do one last show together @ Inferno festival in Oslo, Norway on April 13th. So, I"d be very happy

to see as many of you as possible that day, as I"ll descent into chaos one last time with my Nightrage brothers!

Marios, Henric, Fotis and Jimmie: I had a blast playing and making music with you, love ya!

"Apologies for the lack of updates, we know everyone is concerned about the drummer spot, our new album, touring, etc. First off we want to say we are anxious to record and tour after nearly a year off. The demos are going well, and we are spending extra time finalizing the music and composing the lyrics. Our tentative date to enter the studio to record the new album is mid-summer. Secondly, we encourage anyone who is interested in auditioning for the drummer spot to get in touch with us as soon as possible - although we have been holding out to find a permanent member, the show must go on and we have a contingent plan to hire a session drummer if necessary. As far as touring, for now we can only say that we have accepted some very interesting options for later in the year. We will announce names and dates once the details are confirmed!"

New Orleans Goatwhore, have released the complete track listing from their Metal Blade debut A Haunting Curse. In a groundbreaking endeavour, Australia's premier experimentalists will release three albums simultaneously. Each is a separate entity, but each is also linked through recurring musical themes and artistic motifs. When fully unfurled in all its grandeur, listeners will experience a grandiloquent two and a half hour Requiem Mass with three stages of evolution.

Rhapsody guitarist Luca Turilli presented his new album entitled "The Infinite Wonders Of Creation" to be released April 21th - 24th, 2006. This, his third solo album represent the last part of his "epic" trilogy. In this new album Luca will be also playing the keyboards, the rest of the line up is the following: vocalist Olaf Hayer, bassist Sascha Paeth and drummer Robert Hunecke-Rizzo and guest vocalist Bridget Fogle.

Luca also presented his new project Luca Turilli's Dreamquest, in this band Luca Turilli will play only the keyboard (and not the guitar as he is used to). A debut album entitled "Lost Horizons" will be released later (apparently in this year).
