Fear Factory have lifted the veil on their new album and follow-up to The Industrialist. Three years later, the industrial group is releasing their upcoming 9th studio release, Genexus. It will be released on August 7th worldwide via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The record was co-produced by long-time collaborator Rhys Fulber, along with Cazares and Bell and mixed by Andy Sneap (Arch Enemy, Testament, Exodus, Machine Head). Also, Mike Heller played drums on the new album.

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans Death Angel will release the aptly titled A Thrashumentary on July 24th via Nuclear Blast. The DVD was directed, shot and edited by Tommy Jones (Kataklysm, Soilwork, Lamb Of God, Carcass, Testament) of Videohammer Studios and is a documentary on the band and the thrash scene. The release will also include a full live album entitled The Bay Calls For Blood.

According to Christian, the two musicians are currently "looking for a real singer - someone with range, dynamics, and the beat, someone with vocal skills comparable to my bass skills or Artak's guitar skills - that can sing clean and sing aggression, but actually sing it, like a Cowboys From Hell / Vulgar Display Of Power-era Phil Anselmo, but with their own style."
