Sad news for the fans of symphonic metallers from Xerath. After recording three studio albums, the British band announced the end of their activity in a Facebook statement. As a farewell gift, Xerath shared a new song entitled "Regret".

Xerath - New Song Online
As it has been already officially confirmed, UK's Xerath will release their forthcoming new album, III, on September 15th in Europe on Candlelight Records (on September 16th in USA and 17th in rest of the world). Xerath - Release Teaser For New Album, Details Unveiled
The symphonic metal band Xerath has posted a teaser for their upcoming album III on their Facebook page. Producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica) returns to work with the band on the near 70-minute, 14-song recording. It features artwork by Colin Marks (Suicide Silence, Sylosis, Oceano) and drops in September on Candlelight Records. The video preview can be checked below as well as the album's tracklist and cover art.

II, the forthcoming album from UK metallers Xerath, is available for streaming in its entirety at this location.
II will be released in North America on April 25 via Candlelight Records. The follow-up to 2009's I is described in a press release as "a huge and fully refined slab of Xerath's unique sound from the production genius of Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Pestilence, Týr, Hatesphere) at Hansen studios (in Ribe, Denmark]). Xerath have combined the most brutal and technical elements of modern extreme metal to offer you something massive, cinematic, heavy, groovy and ultimately epic beyond compare."
"II" includes cover artwork by Colin Marks (Strapping Young Lad, Nevermore, Scar Symmetry). It also features a guest appearance by Emil Werstler (Dååth).
