Municipal Waste - Video Banned From YouTube

The video for the Municipal Waste track 'Headbanger Face Rip' has been banned by You Tube. Filmed by the legendary 80s cult splatter/horror independent film company Troma Entertainment, the 'gore version' of the recording has been deemed by You Tube to have content which is inappropriate.

This banned version of the track features the legendary Troma style blood, guts and gore seen in many of their genre-defining B-movie style shock flicks, which fit well with Municipal Waste's outrageous party attitude. Fans who still want to watch this controversial version of the track can still view it online here and the TV-friendly recording can still be viewed on YouTube here.

Municipal Waste's "The Art Of Partying" is out now worldwide.

Mourning Beloveth - Enter The Studio In October

Irish Doom Metal outfit Mourning Beloveth have updated their website with the following update:

"Again some time has passed since the previous update and we have been busy writing the new album. We are set to record in Studio E in Germany from October 1st to 14th, bring it home and then master it. Four songs complete at the moment and 3 more in the pipeline, titles include 'The Burning Man', 'Primeval Rush' and 'The Sickness'. Another labyrinthine journey through some torturous doom as the album should have a running time over an hour.

We have had the pictures from Bamberg up for some time but no report and believe me it is probably better we didn't report...everything was great for the gig, sold out venue, some great support bands and loads of beer..thats where the problem started for one or two members, suffice to say we didn't cover ourselves in glory and so we agreed with the organisers to make up for our drunken performance by playing at this years Way of Darkness festival on the 5th and 6th of October www.wod-festival.de. We should be on stage mid afternoon on Saturday and we will save the drunkenness for afterwards. December should see us play Greece again but we are not cpnfirmed yet so watch this space. As regards touring plans are forming through our booking agent and previous bass player, Adrian through Lugga Productions www.luggamusic.com and we should be heading out for a week at the end of March.

We are now on my space too http://www.myspace.com/mourningbeloveth and we will add photos to it of all our upcoming shows for those to lazy to go to the website.

As for merchandise we still have some AMC shirts with tour dates on the back. Hopefully we will have a re print of all AMC merch by the end of the summer.'

Hatesphere - Replace Guitarist

Danish Thrashers Hatesphere have issued the following statement on their official website:

"Heinz is no longer part of HateSphere. The decision was made long time ago, and we have therefore known it for a long time. There is no bad blood in the split - Heinz simply don't like the touring part of music anymore - so we want to thank him for a great time in the band and wish him the best of luck in the future.
No need to worry as we have found a more than fitting replacement. Jakob from fellow Danish metallers, Dawn of Demise + Koldborn, is taking over the guitar duty in the band emidiately. We have known Jakob for a long time, and we are looking forward to finally hitting the big stages with him! Welcome to the band!
Your first chances to see him in action will be on our upcoming tours with Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir. Jakob has already played a show in Essen(DE) with us - watch the video here. /Hatesphere

Heinz' official statement:
At the 25th of August I played my last show with Hatesphere at the Elsrock Festival in Holland. The reason that Im leaving Hatesphere after 5+ years of hard work and boozin' fun on the road is simply that its time for me to try new things in life. It was probably one of the hardest decisions I ever took, but I know that this is the right choice for me and the band. Life is all about being true to yourself and do what you love doing right now.
My time in Hatesphere has given me so many great moments with the guys in the band and all the people who belive in us and came to our shows during the past 5 years. So a big cheers and thank you to all the bands I've toured with, all you fans who came out to join the party with us, but most of all to my friends Bredahl, Pepe, Mixen, Gyldenøhr, Mikael, Dennis, Mads, Tue, Rasmus and Tolderen for all the good times we´ve shared on the road and in the studio. /Heinz"

Taking his spot in Intronaut is Dave Timnick. According to the band, "Dave is a very talented and proficient musician, we're stoked. "I had a lot of fun playing and learning new things with Intronaut and got to tour with some great bands and made a lot of new friends. Impaled - Sign Deal With Willowtip Records

Official Willowtip Records press release:

"Impaled, purveyors of backwards-thinking medicine, have put their John Hancock on a contract with Willowtip Records, purveyors of forward-thinking metal. Following Willowtip's recent deal for European distribution, the new Impaled record will be made available in the Old World via Candlelight Records.

After touring worldwide to support their previous album on Century Media Records, "Death After Life," Impaled have been hard at work writing and recording a follow-up record. The deal with Willowtip comes at a fortuitous juncture, just in time for the album to be released during Impaled's tenth year anniversary as a band.

"I'd like to say the new record is sicker and more brutal than the last, but I can't. Fact is, it goes beyond that. The new record is way way sickerer and way way way way way more brutaller," said bassist Ross Sewage on the subject of Impaled's latest recording.

Regarding the new deal with Willowtip Records, Sewage stated, "Impaled is looking forward to working with the Willowtip empire. We will murder our enemies, burn their crops, loot their stores, stampede their women and rape their cattle."

Jason Tipton, president and C.E.O. of Willowtip, Inc., has added, "We are honored to be working with the goretet known as Impaled and are thrilled to celebrate their 10th anniversary. We urge everyone in kingdoms worldwide not to purchase the traditional gifts of tin or aluminum for this 10th anniversary celebration, but instead to purchase the new album from Impaled, which will be in stores throughout Europe November 5th and in North America November 6th."

The new album from Impaled, entitled "The Last Gasp," will be their fourth full-length recording."

Dark Fortress - Found New Vocalist

German Black Metal band Dark Fortress completed their line up again with a new vocalist. A statement on the band's MySpace blog goes as follows:

"After receiving various applications we finally decided to recruit Morean of progressive death/thrashers Noneuclid as our new vocalist. Morean already appeared on "Séance" as the composer of the piece 'Incide' and the arranger of the string section used in the song 'While They Sleep'. Our decision is based on his immense musical and vocal abilities, his personage and dedication to extreme and dark music. He will be responsible for the lyrical concept of the forthcoming album, which will be completely finished by the end of October. Expect a world-wide release via Century Media Records in early 2008, followed by increased live activities."

Dark Fortress' previous vocalist Matthias "Azathoth" Jell left in May, leaving guitarist Asvargr as the only original member.

Illdisposed - Sign With AFM Records

Danish Extreme Metal act Illdisposed have signed with AFM Records. The official press release goes as follows:

"There are band who come out and play, and there are bands who just simply rock and kick every ass! Illdisposed are maybe the coolest and most sick rockstars on earth - but they just simply rule! Since their debut album "Four Depressive Seasons" in 1993 the band did nine killer albums including their current Roadrunner release "Burn Me Wicked".

Finally Illdisposed have signed a new deal with AFM Records, who set up the release date for their 10th strike on March, 28th 2008.

Guitar player Jakob Batten comments: "I am happy to announce that we have signed a new worldwide record deal with AFM Records. This will be the beginning of a new chapter in the illdisbook and we're looking forward to work with these guys. It's time for being a priority now. For some years our albums have been limited to Europe and a few other territories - now it's time for the whole world to be able to buy our albums at their local album pusher again. The new album will contain 12 songs of groovy brutality."

At this point the band is in middle of the songwriting process, and it is obvious that we can expect something really big!"

Green Carnation - Line Up Split

Green Carnation frontman and guitarist Tchort has announced in an announcement on the band's website that the current line up of Green Carnation has split up.

"Although releasing the amazing concert DVD "A Night Under The Dam" earlier this year, the band felt drained of energy after the miserable organized USA tour put together by The End Records and their booking agent. The End Records being one of the main supporters of the band the last years, bringing hope back to Green Carnation's view on the music business, left the band with broken promises, huge debts, theft of license money and a poor organized tour draining the band for energy. The band doesn't blame The End Records for all of its problems, but they made a bad situation worse by first giving the tour a green light when the conditions for the tour were doomed from the beginning and then later withdraw license money, merchandise money, merchandise and not paying the band or its sound engineer, leaving the band in debts. All of which could have been avoided by cancelling the tour before it started. The End Records lost money on the tour as well, so why it wasn't cancelled when the contracts for the tour were offered to the label, is a unanswered question.

The deal for the tour was that Green Carnation would cover the flights to and from the USA, while the rest of the tour would be covered by The End Records and tour income. But in the end, the band covered the flights, their own fee, the fee of the sound engineer, some of the gas and hotel expenses during the tour, and paid for CD's that were sold during the tour. On top of that The End Records - withdraw the license money from the last album, took all the merch money and the CD's to cover their own losses. What The End Records had to gain from sending the band across the world, driving across the continent of America twice, just to come to a town where the local promoter haven't been seen around for the last 4 months, or arrive at clubs that don't even know you are coming, to clubs where the local promoter put up another show because the booking agent never replied to their booking confirmation so instead they went ahead and booked other tours on the same date.

In the end, it made the band members avoid live situations, tours and business partners. The band members felt they had little or nothing to give anymore, and I don't blame them. I saw where we were heading and it wasn't where we wanted to be at, so instead of ending up with a mediocre album, we decided to call it the quits after the most spectacular release we have produced so far; "A Night Under The Dam" on DVD."

Fall Of The Leafe - Call It Quits

Finnish Atmospheric Gothic Metal/Gothenburg Metal band Fall Of The Leafe have split up after a carreer of eleven years.
Vocalist Tuomas Tuominen has issued the following statement on the band's official website:

"It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that after our last remaining shows in September, Fall of the Leafe is no more.

The reasons that led to this this decision are many and the biggest one I cannot put my finger on. I think we were lead and ultimately forced into this decision by each other, by the same very different tastes and likings that made our music so special, by our private lives and perhaps finally by our own faults as people.

For me, it has been a ten year experience and adventure with my friends and all of you who have shared Fall of the Leafe with us. For that I thank you all. Thank you Jussi, Kaj, Matias, Petri, Miska - it's been a blast."

Fall Of The Leafe's sixth album "Aerolithe" has just been released a few days ago via Firebox Records.
