Headspace - Release First Track From New Album

New music from Headspace! The proggers featuring Damian Wilson (Threshold) and Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Snakecharmer) recently announced the release of their second album All That You Fear Is Gone for the 26th of February 2016 via Inside Out Music and you can view the striking artwork below. Textures - Release New Track Video

The new music continues now with Textures. The Dutch progressive metal maniacs will release the first of their upcoming two albums, Phenotype, on February 5th, 2016 via Nuclear Blast. The second record of the diptych, Genotype, will be released one year later. Today, the band has released another song off the forthcoming record called "Illuminate The Trail". Killing Joke - Cancel North American Tour

Bad news for Killing Joke fans in North America. The industrial band has been forced to cancel their upcoming January/February North American tour due to health issues. This has come as a shock for the band, but they ask for time to work this out and hope to return to touring as soon as possible. The Soft Moon are continuing with many of the scheduled dates so please check local listings for further information on that. Killing Joke released the album Pylon last October which is being well-received.

Between The Buried And Me - Announce Tour With August Burns Red

New tour alert! Between The Buried And Me and Grammy Award nominees August Burns Red, who both released great albums in 2015, Coma Ecliptic and Found In Far Away Places respectively, are joining forces for a North American co-headlining tour. The tour kicks off on March 4th in Sayreville, NJ at Starland Ballroom with additional support from The Faceless and Good Tiger, and will wrap up in New York on April 17th at Webster Hall.

Absu - Confirm N. American Tour, New Album This Year

Absu are set to embark on a massive North American tour in March/April. The tour is titled Merelogical Nihilism Connexus Tour: 2016. The 42-city tour will see the band perform a brand new set with music spanning their 25-year recording career. It is the first full, American tour by the Texas-based mythological occult trio since 2013 and will precede the release of the band's new album, Apsu. They plan to release the new album later this year and have now revealed its first details.

The French occult black metallers Aluk Todolo are putting out new music this year. The band is releasing their fourth album, four years after Occult Rock. The new output is called Voix and comes out on February 5th, 2016 on The Ajna Offensive. To help with the wait, you can hear a couple of songs from the new record already. Myrkur - Getting Death Threats, Limits Facebook Messages

One-woman black metal project Myrkur always seems to generate a lot of discussions, maybe because she is a woman in a predominantly male dominated genre, maybe because she gets a lot of attention. Whatever the cause may be, things has been taken too far now as Myrkur, aka Amalie Bruun, has posted online about getting tired of receiving death threats via Facebook. Bruun doesn't blame the metal community as a whole but points out that those threats and messages are coming mostly from American men and occasionally Eastern European.

Thunderstone - Join AFM Records, To Release New Album

After a few years of silence, finally today we have news about Thunderstone. It seems they have been working behind the scenes. The power/heavy metallers who were rejoined by original vocalist Pasi Rantanen in 2013 again, have signed a worldwide deal (excluding Finland and Japan) with AFM Records! The band's upcoming new album will be called Apocalypse Again and will be released on April 1st.
