Whyzdom - Releasing New Album Next Year

Symphonic metallers Whyzdom have some news for their fans about their next album. Their first album with new singer Marie Rouyer will be called Symphony For A Hopeless God. Furthermore, the record was produced by Vynce Leff, recorded, mixed and mastered in Paris at Powermania Studio, assisted by Mathieu Gillon (120dB Studio). The album will be available starting from February 17th, 2015 via Scarlet Records. Get ready!

Sonata Arctica - Announce Ecliptica Over Europe Tour 2015

The Finns Sonata Arctica recently released a re-recorded version of their debut album Ecliptica, which came out 15 years ago, under the banner Ecliptica - Revisited: 15th Anniversary Edition on Nuclear Blast. Now they have announced the Ecliptica Over Europe Tour 2015, together with special guests Freedom Call, who will play a very special set to celebrate the anniversary of their album Eternity. Sonata Arctica will perform Ecliptica in full. It will be a veritable power metal feast.

Megadeth - Broderick And Drover Form New Band

After recently leaving Megadeth, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover are now joining forces in a new band. Reportedly, they have also recruited ex-Scar The Martyr singer Henry Derek Bonner for this group. However, that information is yet to be confirmed by the band. Light Bringer - Go On Hiatus

Despite having just released their fourth album Monument back in November, Japanese power metallers Light Bringer have announced they're to go on hiatus for the foreseeable future. In a message on their official website, Light Bringer apologized for the sudden announcement, but didn't elaborate on why they were pausing activities after almost a decade.

Svartsot - New Album Details, New Song Online

Danish folk metallers Svartsot have announced their new album title and release dates. Their fourth album is being released in cooperation between Svartsot's newly established company, Of Wood And Iron Productions, and the Hungarian label Nail Records, the home to Dalriada. It drops on February 20th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and three days later in the rest of Europe. A taster from Vældet can be heard in the form of the song "Kilden - I Marker og I Lunde" below.

The 2015 Deathwish Fest Europe has been announced! This is a select group of shows featuring Converge, Trap Them, Harm's Way, and Young And In The Way. These shows start at Temples Festival 2015 alongside a multitude of bands, then run for a week in select cities.
