Iron Maiden - Facing Lawsuit Over Songwriting Credits

Metal legends Iron Maiden are facing yet another lawsuit. According to The Sun, the band is being sued by their former singer Dennis Willcock, who sang for Maiden in 1976 and 1977, for allegedly stealing the lyrics to some of their classic early songs. Willcock claims to have written the lyrics to the tracks "Prowler", "Charlotte The Harlot", "Phantom Of The Opera", "Iron Maiden" and "Prodigal Son", which were recorded and released by Iron Maiden on their first two albums, Iron Maiden (1980) and Killers (1981). A spokesperson for the band called the allegations "outrageous" and "absolutely ridiculous" when asked for comment.

Cellar Darling - Enter The Studio

Hellfest 2019 - Manowar, Slayer And More Confirmed

The first artists have been announced for next year's edition of the Hellfest Open Air Festival in Clisson, France. Mark your calendars for 21st, 22nd and 23rd June 2019! Vinnie Paul - Reportedly Died From Major Heart Attack

Following the [url= http://www.metalstorm.net/events/news_comments.php?news_id=33871]tragic passing of drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott[/url], new reports claim that Vinnie Paul died from a "major heart attack," citing "sources who knew" the musician. The Las Vegas Review-Journal stated "Sources who knew Paul said late Friday and also today that he had suffered a major heart attack, but there has been no official confirmation of his cause of death."

Pantera - Drummer Vinnie Paul Dies At 54

Tragic news arrived this morning. Former Pantera and Damageplan founding member and drummer Vinnie Paul has lost his life. Vinnie Paul was currently playing in heavy metallers Hellyeah. Along with his brother, guitarist Dimebag Darrell, the legendary drummer Vincent Paul Abbott formed Pantera in 1981. As of yet, no cause of death has been revealed but his representatives have confirmed his passing.
