Icelandic duo Katla., comprised of ex-Sólstafir drummer Guðmundur Óli Pálmason and his former bandmate from Potentiam, Einar Eldur Thorberg Guðmundsson, have debuted last year with a two-song EP. Now, they have a debut full-length album on the way, and they are premiering one of the songs from this upcoming album, the song being named "Hyldýpi". Dirty Shirt's brand of crossover folk metal will get a special treatment next year. The band is planning a tour with a complete traditional Romanian orchestra (named The National Folkloric Ensemble Transylvania) for next year. To counter the costs of such a grandiose project, the band has decided to crowdfund this project and stated that should they not achieve their goal, the tour stands, although with a smaller orchestra. Romanian doomsters Descend Into Despair have revealed that they are working on a new album, a follow-up to their acclaimed 2014 debut, The Bearer Of All Storms. The album will be called Synaptic Veil and it will be "a five part slow introspective journey about questioning reality, loss, abandonment and despair," according to the band. There is no release date confirmed yet.
