AC/DC - Drummer Sentenced To Eight Months Of Home Detention

Phil Rudd, drummer of AC/DC, now has an official sentence for threatening to kill and drug possession charges. While not being sentenced to jail, he must serve eight months of home detention. Judge Ingram told Rudd he would end up behind bars if he breached any of the conditions of his sentence, which includes 24-hour monitoring at his waterfront home.

Sólstafir - Former Drummer Responds, To Take Legal Action

Guðmundur Óli Pálmason, ex-drummer of Sólstafir, has released a second statement, which can be read in full below. This statement follows a previous one, which also can be read here where he announced he was kicked out of the band. Now he has responded to the official statement released by the band last month where not much was said regarding the details of his departure. It seems that we are going to see some legal battles in the Köld north as Guðmundur Óli Pálmason is preparing to take this matter to court.

John Haughm - Streaming Collaboration Album With Mathias Grassow

This is not the first time these two have worked together, as the album Mosaic is also a collaboration between the two. Saxon - New Album Title Announced

The follow-up to 2013's Sacrifice and heavy metal veterans Saxon's 21st album will be called Battering Ram, says frontman Biff Byford, who expects the album to be released this autumn by October. Byford says that the album is nearing completion with a few last details to take care of.

Dordeduh - Details About Side-Project's Album Revealed

Sunset In The 12th House is a side-project of Dordeduh members Edmond "Huppogramus" Karban and Sol Faur, acting as a mostly instrumental quartet, which is completed by Dordeduh drummer Sergio Ponti and bass player Mihai Moldoveanu. Mozaic will be their debut album, and as the title suggests, the album is conceptualized to be a mosaic of sounds and themes, rather than going in a clear direction, the way Dordeduh does. The album will be released through Prophecy Productions on the 5th of June in Europe and a North American release is scheduled for the 9th of June.
