Louder Than Life Festival - Canceled

The 2018 edition of Louder Than Life Festival has officially been canceled due to unsafe conditions resulting from ongoing rain and flooding at the festival site. The festival had been scheduled to take place this weekend in Louisville, KY and was to feature bands like Alice In Chains, Deftones, Underøath, Primus, Body Count, Limp Bizkit, Gwar, and Clutch, among many others.

Arkham Witch - Parted Ways With Bassist

English doom rollers Arkham Witch confirmed that they have parted ways with bassist Ben Snowden. Ben joined the band last year, when he replaced Raj Singh. Vocalist Simon Iff? will take bass duties from now on. In other news, Arkham Witch are in a working process for their upcoming new album. More details to follow.

Vandenberg's MoonKings - New Acoustic Album Coming, Song Online

Dutch hard rockers Vandenberg's MoonKings return with their new record, Rugged And Unplugged, which will be released on November 23rd via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group. Rugged And Unplugged is a stripped back acoustic album which features songs from across Adrian Vandenberg's career. From his first band Teaser as a 20-year-old, he has always used an acoustic guitar in his recordings, which along with the electric guitar creates the light and shade dynamic that is the cornerstone to all of his records. Harlej - Former Singer Dies

Czech hard rockers Harlej have announced on the band's Facebook page in Czech that their former singer Vláďa ?afránek has died. Vláda ?afránek was in the band from 1993-2006 when he was replaced by current singer Tomá? Hrbácek. The band didn't explain what happened to him.

U.D.O. - Announce European Tour, Parted Ways With Bassist

German heavy metal powerhouse U.D.O. just announced a string of dates for the European tour, scheduled for February/March, 2019. Additionally, the band also confirmed that after 22 years, bassist Fitty Wienhold, will leave the band after the last show with U.D.O. in Mallorca, Spain. His departure is due to private reason and in good relationship to the band.

From The Vastland - New Album Title, Cover Artwork Unveiled

Iranian one man black metal project From The Vastland is currently working on the upcoming new effort. This will the band's fifth full length and will be entitled Daeayasna.
