Onkel Tom - Frontman To Release New Solo Album

Onkel Tom, which is the solo project of Thomas "Angelripper" Such, bassist/vocalist of veteran German thrashers Sodom, will release a new album, titled Bier Ernst, on September 28th via SPV/Steamhammer. The record will contain 21 tracks on two CDs, titled in accordance with their lyrical content "Bier" and "Ernst," respectively.

Towards Atlantis Lights - New Material Coming

Funeral doom metal vagabonds Towards Atlantis Lights, featuring members of Pantheïst, Aphonic Threnody and Void Of Silence, will come back in 2019 with a new release. Impaler - Former Bassist Deceased

American speed metallers Impaler have announced that their former bassist from 1994-2004, Erik Allyn, has died after a battle with cancer. The band has also decided to honor Erick on their September 1st show. He played on four Impaler albums and appears on both DVDs.

Usurpress, the Swedish death metal act, just lost their singer and frontman Stefan Pettersson. There is speculation that the band might split up now. Stefan Pettersson, who was also the vocalist in Sportlov, lost his battle with cancer. R.I.P.

Living The Dream is the title of the new Uriah Heep album, recently announced by Frontiers Music Srl (out September 14th). The first single and video for the song "Grazed By Heaven" has been released. The lyrics for "Grazed By Heaven" were written by Jeff Scott Soto and the music was written by bassist Dave Rimmer. Unleashed - Confirm Shows In South America

Swedish death metal bringers Unleashed are travelling to South America for the first time at the end of this year. The band will perform for the first time in Chile and Brazil. Unleashed will headline the Inferno fest in Santiago, Chile, on the 7th of December and the Extreme Hate Festival in São Paulo, Brazil, on the 9th of December.

U.D.O. - Live Guitarist Announced

German metal panzer U.D.O. parted ways with guitarist Bill Hudson earlier this year. Now band has revealed that former Accept drummer and U.D.O. guitarist Stefan Kaufmann will join them on the upcoming summer tour. However, he won't be the band's permanent guitarist.
