ADX - Former Member Passes

French speed metallers ADX just lost former guitarist Hervé "Marquis" Tasson. He was a founding member of the band when they were formed back in 1982. Hervé left the band 10 years later in 1992.

Killing Addiction - Guitarist Dies

Florida death metal veterans Killing Addiction just lost a founding father, Chad Bailey, which had guitar duties in the band. He was the brother of frontman Patrick Bailey. Chad Bailey passed away due to complications of organ rejection.

Ozzfest Meets Knotfest - 47 People Arrested

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, thirty people were arrested during the first day of Ozzfest Meets Knotfest at San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore, California. Ten other attendees were transported to the hospital for various medical reasons. Most of the arrests on Saturday, September 24th, were alcohol-related.

AC/DC - Bassist Officially Leaves

Frontiers Music Srl has just announced the upcoming release of Eternal Idol's debut album, entitled The Unrevealed Secret, on December 2nd. Eternal Idol is a new band formed in early 2016 and that marks the start of a new musical adventure for Rhapsody Of Fire and Angra singer Fabio Lione, together with the experienced Italian guitar player Nick Savio and a line-up completed by the young vocal rising star Giorgia Colleluori, Camillo Colleluori (both also from Hollow Haze) on drums and Andrea Buratto (Secret Sphere, Hell In The Club) on bass.

German thrash boozers Tankard are mixing new beer (aka new music) after they released their latest beer edition, the record, R.I.B. The currently untitled album is planned for a 2017 release via Nuclear Blast. The unit will enter Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf with producer Martin Buchwalter (Destruction, Accu§er, Perzonal War, Suidakra, etc.) in January 2017 to kick off the recordings of their 35-year-anniversary album.

Guns N' Roses - Axl Rose Sued By Former Keyboardist

Former Guns N' Roses member Chris Pitman has lost his patience and reportedly filed a lawsuit against the band's lead singer, Axl Rose, over an unpaid debt for services the multi-instrumentalist provided to the group. Keyboardist Pitman claims that Rose wrote him a promissory note for $125,000 that he was owed for over a year's worth of work. In the suit, Pitman claims that Rose was supposed to pay up by October 2012, but has failed to do so. Pitman says that Rose now owes him more than $163,000 with interest.
