I hadn't heard anything about Vomitory up to the moment I read an interview of Fenriz (Darkthrone) who, trying to sound funny, said that Vomitory could never make a sold out live at Oslo! So, being curious, I searched their discography. The first album that fell in my hands was Blood Rapture. From the first listening I fell in love with this album, especially with its music!

Is it just me or does this album art kinda resemble Suffocation's Human Waste Album cover? I don't know, just a thought.

A very consistent, underrated and overlooked death metal album.

9.1/10 from me - 'Chaos Fury' and 'Rotting Hill' are the standout tracks. All other songs are also fantastic.

May be one of the 10 best Swedish Death metal albums from the whole history together with Left hand path, The nocturnal silence, Like a ever flowing stream, etc..
