This album is incredible. One of the best experiences I've had all year. An absolute joy to listen to.

This didn't grab me as much as I'd have liked. Focusing on atmospherics is absolutely fine in my book, but this is just way too imbalanced. Almost completely stripped off of the "meaningful" aggression and a sense of urgency that made the debut so enjoyable.
I don't know if it's my changing tastes but I'd put this on the same saddle as the latest Son of Aurelius. Too melody/atmosphere-oriented, without any definitive cutting edge. Kinda disappointing in all fairness.
EDIT: Having listened to the album for a while now, I can say it grew in stature slightly for me. Nevertheless, still somewhat disappointing and lacking.

Best techdeath I've ever heard, love the atmosphere.
On a side note, Jessica Flores has good taste.

Id be more sold if the production was better
too much brick-walling for me. Everything sounds like it's on the same volume level. Not as bad as some other albums, but I'll need to stream this before I dedicate my cash to this album

What does a clip about the war on drugs have to do with this?

When I linked it jumped to the part where a girl wearing a Fallujah t-shirt can be seen. Apparently it's not going there now. Anyway, that's the only reason I even know about this amazing band.

Overrated but indeed a good album. There is no variety in vocals which is a bad thing. Second part of this album is better, more proggy IMO. I think I still prefer their debut over this new album.

Yes, it's alright, interesting stuff I guess, just do not like the vocals either.
Shame about the vocals.

There's a lot going on here; very proggy, atmospheric, and layered. Overall an awesome album. Can't wait to see these guys at Summer Slaughter.

I just don't get it. i hear nothing but good things about this band, but it just seems really boring to me. i wish i could hear what everyone is talking about
It is easy to be tired of this album because of vocals. It is really not as good as the rating says. I have better prog death bands on my list (self-promotion )

An absolute bombshell. Fallujah have seriously matured (not that they were really immature) into a remarkabe group. I went from "yea I'm sure this'll be aight but probably overhyped" to "wow this is maybe AotY so far..." I could break it down into specifics but this album is just straight up cool.
Individual performance honor: Andrew Baird. My formal analysis on the drums for this album would read something like "FUCKING BONKERS"

Can't rate it higher than 7 yet. I like it for sure though. What songs are standing out to people?

I liked this a lot more than the debut. Shame the growls weren't good.

Brutal, melodic, atmospheric. Lacks staying power, however, and is somewhat forgettable even after a few listens.

Blatantly repetitive wankery. No real atmosphere as many people say, nor interesting technical riffs. I am dumbfounded by the admiration of others...
If you want a good example of atmosphere and technicality, go listen to Psychotic Waltz. These guys played in the 90's and it's still amazing and better than this "forward-thinking" band .

I am dumbfounded by the admiration as well, for the precise same reasons you just named.

Dude, I love Psychotic Waltz but I'd never put them as a form of comparison to Fallujah. They are intending two totally different objectives if you ask me. Maybe I haven't been reading up on Fallujah, but I don't think they were ever labelled "forward-thinking." If they were, then I totally agree with you; anyone who thinks this is forward thinking is dead wrong.

Excellent album but not perfect because of a little point. In few seconds of some tracks the connection between vocals and music is lost.but there's a little bad point in some tracks that doesn't make this album boring.just listen to "carved from stone",is it boring?

Been listening to this a couple of times, after being introduced to it by a friend, and my first impression on the band and the record was great. Now, after some listens, I kinda feel that it's an album that just doesn't evolve that much. It's a really nice atmosphere and some of the melodies are really great; but overall I feel that the songs is very alike each other.
