Debut is too low in the list, Nonzamo is too high.
I've grown to dislike the two Menel albums, although the guy is a good vocalist. Those two albums would be at the bottom for me.

Road of Bones is much better than Resistance, better flow and song-writing IMO.

The debut is good but despite many listens I don't get the same connections as most others IQ albums. Nonzamo is both extremly catchy and well-performed throughout. Don't get why it usually considered among their weaker releases.

I also think so if we're only talking about the first disc of Road of Bones, which is a lot tighter than Resistance, but if we're seeing them both as double albums then they are quite equal in my world.

I just enjoy RoB more then Resistance.

Any suggestions of another prog band to listen through? Thinking about Pendragon, I like the albums I own by them but maybe there's something else? Marillion and Yes will be done but they feel like a too big of a project right now.

Well, Pallas are similar to IQ and have a pretty solid discography. But they're not on MS, not even invisible. Galahad are on MS, another good British neo-prog band.

Sylvan is a great band from Germany. They started as IQ imitators but soon distanced themselves and created kinda their own sound. Posthumous Silence is a must listen.

Enchant is a favorite of mine, I don't know if you are familiar with them. They are on a(nother) hiatus and their vocalist (Ted Leonard) is in Spock's Beard now and recently in Pattern-Seeking Animals. He's been in a couple of progressive metal bands, too (Affector, Thought Chamber).

You might also like Mystery (Canadian band). (not on MS, but might appeal to metalheads).

French band Nemo (they do sing in French, if you don't mind that, highly recommended).

I'll get back once I come up with other examples.

Oh wow, many interesting suggestions. I own the three first albums by Enchant, don't remember much of the second and third one but the debut contains some outstanding songs. I've also heard the debut by Pallas long time ago, really liked it. I'm unfamiliar with the rest. Probably will start with Enchant this month but I will add all of these into my "need to check out" spotify list.
