Very enjoyable yet somewhat shallow...

One of this year's better melodeath albums - very lively and hooky, and the lead guitars make a consistently strong contribution

This is one of the biggest surprises for me this year. It's such a supurbly entertaining album, with so many great riffs, exceptional leads, and memorable choruses, and it's just highly energetic and groovy from the get go. It's definitely going to be one of my most listened to albums by the end of the year, for sure

Somehow bodomesque but far more than that, which is refreshing. Definitely a band to keep an eye on.

The clean vocals are on the weak side, and I could maybe do without them; I like the unusual power metal flavor that they bring to melodeath, so it would be great if they could be strengthened, but enough choruses that I don't feel much energy in chip away at my overall evaluation. Otherwise, though, this is really good - the songwriting is an interesting extreme power/melodeath blend. Lots of great riffs, leads, and hooks, and it does have a good bit of Bodom energy.
