I'm leaving Tehran in 3 hours, so I'd like to say happy Norooz to Iranian Metal Stormers (and of course to Viggo who is our Estonian ambassador here ) , wish you have all a great holiday and a great year too... This Norooz is with no Sina! I hope he'll be fine too!
Well, this year unlike previous ones, I've got my GPRS activated on me mobile, so hopefully I'll have internet access.

And sadly I never got to learn either language, and currently go by the more English method of raising my voice and pointing at things wildly when trying to communicate with speakers of other languages

Yep... English is a curse... it leaves so many of it's native speakers seemingly incapable of learning/speaking other languages... which is essential especially in Europe... which is even more essential for instance where I work, as I work in the airport it's sorta essential to address Germans in German, Italians in Italian, Russians in Russian, French in French... yes... Persians in Persian... Sadly enough I must use English in most cases because the majority of travellers in our airport are from Scandinavian countries and I can't speak any of these languages spoken there...

Yeah, definitely wish I learned more languages growing up. Studied German and French in high school but forgot most of it, though I'm still very capable of speaking key German phrases such as 'ein bier, bitte' and 'MANOWAR'!
