I've just realized that if I expand my B.S. years to 12 terms, I'm going to be exempted ... Because interestingly my father will turn to 60 in Ordibehesht of 1393, and in Khordad of that year will be my very last term in university!

This is the first time in my life that I feel lucky... I just hope in next 3 years the rules of military service wont change. Because if it gonna happen then I feel soooo unlucky and will stab myself to death...

Under the new rules (1-year respite after completing the education) I'll be exemted too My father will turn 60 in Azar 91.

The thing is they've changed this rule after some centuries.. And now your father must be above 60 and disabled! Mine is not. So my only chance to get exempted is gone...

Some time a go I heard in the news that for exempting your father must be disabaled and... but some days after that they changed their statement ! that was only for one day ! don't worry you still have the chance then don't kill yourself

Well, looks like they're becoming more and more desperate. When governments become desperate, it usually is a hint that there's got to be a change. The only thing is, what kind of a change can there be for Iran? As much as I've understood, things in Egypt got worse after the revolution. How much worse can things get in Iran (I think I can imagine but it's better not to think...)

Happy new year to you too! Iran is not the only place to have compulsory military service (mainly as a political brainwashing and humiliation program). And they're not the only ones to make getting exemption more and more impossible...

Italy doesn't have that, luckily... as most of the Europe...

Just listened to the second track of AtomA's album, what I came across? Either Siavosh or Ehsan sing some persian stuff which is great, I guess.
