Long after Stoned Jesus had declared themselves to be The Mountain, King Buffalo were Longing To Be The Mountain. Dead Star isn't going to elevate King Buffalo to the level of recognition that Stoned Jesus achieved with that song, but it should maintain their upwards momentum within the stoner rock scene. Surprisingly good sci-fi album! Very nice atmosphere that makes me feel like I'm floating through a nebula...reminds me of Pink Floyd - but also with some heavier moments! My favorite song on here is Eta Carinae
