Wait a second, I remember viewing this list before but now I know a lot more on it than before.

Anyway, nice list you got here. I know of course Dark Lunacy, Fleshgod Apocalypse (not the album featured here though), Kalisia (really weird stuff and actually reminded me of Ayreon for some reason, but it seems more people got that idea), Mayan (very good album, not amazing in the slightest though), Septicflesh and last but not least Shade Empire.

Overall I don't enjoy pure death metal a lot, but when it's more symphonic it definitely helps.

So many overlooked great bands and albums, Devoid by Dark Lunacy should be a standard known album like Blackwater Park.

I was really keen on the idea of having atmospheric/symphonic elements in death metal, as most (female-fronted) symphonic bands were getting plainer and less original. Added a few more bands/albums.

Totally agree. Devoid, Forget-Me-Not, & The Diarist should be universally essential to any symphonic death metal fan.
