I first listened to Trivium when I was getting into metal in 2005 and saw the music videos for Dying in Your Arms and A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation on Kerrang! TV (which I was watching a lot at the time). I loved the combination of melody and impressive guitar playing, so much so that they inspired me to start playing around 2006/07 time. Ever since then they've become one of my favourite bands and I have learned many of their songs on guitar.
