Hail Møl !!! Awsome album just like i was expecting !

This sounds more along the lines of what I expected Deafheaven's release to be like. I wasn't expecting such an excellent vocal delivery but the range here is diverse and lifts Diorama out of what I typically associate with this genre.

This sounds and feels closer to post-hardcore and mathcore from the early to mid 2000s than anything black metal. Blackened emo. Not my cup of tea.

Another great extreme metal band rises from Denmark.

This is more on the hardcore-shoegaze than black metal side. If you are looking some good post black metal i suggest you to listen yo the last album of Mroh.

Did i miss their first album. I hope they have repeated and its better this time so i shall postpone returning to that album for the time being coz i am still revisiting this album again and again.

Catchy black metal screams combined with more melodic metal and even rockish styles. I also get some Killing Joke vibes, must be the post metal side
