Additional info
Concept :
'Neverafter' tells the story of a young girl, Aria, and her journey through a dreamworld as she searches for resolution after the tragic loss of her mother. A music box - all that is left of her mother's possessions - fails to sound ever since that fateful day. Its melody, all but forgotten, haunts Aria's dreams and into a deep sleep she enters, in search of that faithful sound, so that she may remember happiness once again - and once again be free.

Co-produced, mixed and mastered by Thomas "Plec" Johansson at The Panic Room, Sweden.
Artwork by Kim Aldau.

Removed from the "tasty" list - mini-review: "The appeal of Mors Principium Est never quite resonated with me, so it came as a surprise when I found out Andy is the band's primary songwriter. While certainly more upbeat in comparison to his work in aforementioned band, there are plenty of parallels that can be drawn: tight and galloping riffs, virtuosic leads, key-melding tapping, all augmented by a layered symphonic undertone. While the power and Gothenburg metal influences take the forefront of the album's sound, Andy has taken heed from modern prog inclinations, tastefully applying influences from the likes of Plini and David Maxim Micic. The exception to the album is the 3rd track, "Skyless", which is easily the best written instrumental Wintersun song I've heard, and easily my favourite track on the album. Despite this being a solo record of a technically-inclined guitarist, there is no such unwarranted aural fretboard abuse".
