I was expecting another PotC soundtrack. Its very repetitive, every song sounds the same, though it is a bit catchy.

The synth work is very impressive, it's what gives the album that truly epic feel. But sadly the songwriting isn't particularly memorable, it certainty has a catchiness to it, but it gets too repetitive especially towards the end. Now I can't decide as to whether I prefer this one to Visions Of Atlantis earlier release just yet, they are both solid efforts I guess time will tell.

First Russian band what left and moved away from Russia. It's good for them. Baltics, Poland n Chech Republic dont give visas to all Russian n Belorus citizens N terminate their shengen visas. Located in Turkey makes them tour a lot and be bigger, find good musicians to play and make good music. This is good level music a bit symphonic version about Alestorm pirate metal. Catchy party songs, party mood, a bit Vision of Atlantis, Edenbridge mixture.

Written by 24emd on 27.08.2022 at 06:53 I personally rather see them as the Russian "Therion" instead of "Nightwish". I don't know when Nightwish tried to make a PotC soundtrack as I stopped listening to them after they kicked out Tarja but I'm sure they never sounded like Imperial Age (or Therion). I loved the intro from VoA as AndyMetalFreak points out but after the intro the PotC flow died pretty fast (imo).
