My father used to listen much Uriah Heep when I was a kid and always found the band name odd. I can't really compare this new album to the 70's albums I was brainwashed to but I still enjoyed it. This was one of the easiest albums to rate this year as it's clear 7, not less, not more. Favorite song was Fly Like An Eagle which remainded me of Iron Maiden somehow.

Its nothing whit an old UH to do, album as album, but such bands should simply make so good level albums as classic. But then again I enjoyed it somehow, still good music.

I usually understand your posts, but this makes no sense.

Let me try.
He expects famous bands like Uriah Heep to release material that can hold up with their classic albums, even from albums that are released some 50 years after their classic era.

That makes no sense at all, so your translation must be correct.

I don't think so. He says it's got nothing to do with old UH, which is incorrect, since they got back to writing new music in 2008, UH sounds closer to their vintage 70s rock.
I did not even understand if he thinks the album is good or not.

Well he said "But then again I enjoyed it somehow, still good music."
But I guess he will have to come back here himself and shed some light on this.

"I enjoy it somehow" - what does he mean? you say that to something you enjoy despite certain flaws.

I found this album to be good. Surprisingly good in fact! It's almost like if Metallica were to come out with a very good album after all these years (okay okay 72 Seasons was decent...)
Anyway, Hail the Sunrise and Age of Changes had me really feeling it and actually, most songs on this record were quite good. Kudos to these legendary rockers who still, apparently, "got it."
