It’s curious to think that there was a time where black metal considered death metal to be a sworn enemy; all things considered, there’s far more that unites the two styles musically than divides them, as the existence of blackened death metal aptly demonstrates. Pretty cool release is this, it's raw, it's sinister and the howliing screeches are perfect for it's eerily dark setting. The two humongous tracks are long enough to allow that incredibly dense atmosphere to constantly build up, giving off this hellish kinda vibe, which ultimately reminds me of some old The Ruins Of Beverast albums.
