Tarot is one of the oldest Heavy Metal bands from Finland, and they have many releases under the sleeve, but sadly enough many of them passed unnoticed to the eyes of many Metalheads, but with the support of Spinefarm they're hoping to change that. It's also worth mentioning that the singer, bassist and founder of Tarot is Marco Hietala, of Nightwish fame.

By many considered their best. In my book it's a good album but compared to all their previous ones it's their least interesting. The individual songs themself are not bad, it spawned many of the most loved Tarot songs (I Rule, Pyre of the Gods, Rider of the Last Day) and has some good album tracks in Follow the Blind (my favourite song here), Convulsions and Undead Son. Listening to the entire record and comparing it to their previous albums it's more meat-and-potatoes power metal with heavy riffs and very heavy focus on the chorus and in the end it doesn't leave a equally lasting impression.
