I found this quite a cool album - there's been quite a bit of good prog thrash in the past couple of years, but I'm not sure any of them have been quite this proggy, while also having the capacity for extremity that the album has too. Like Hemotoxin's album, there's some really ear-catching solos on the album, and while it doesn't go super in on the Mesoamerican themes, there are occasional hints of it.

This is definitely one of the most interesting albums in thrash I've heard this year. The songwriting is often complex and unpredictable and clearly not your typical thrash approach, it's progressive and technical. The various vocal styles are an interesting element, as well as the way the rhythm section shifts from complex to groovy. But it's the guitarwork which really stands out, from it's technical to melodic riffing and outstanding lead guitar shredding.
