For the pioneering rap-metal band Clawfinger, Deaf, Dumb and Blind is where it all started with these guys. It set their style of hard-hitting metal songs, with raps about a broad amount of subjects, such as politics, anti-racism and financial and emotional struggles all of which would become recurring themes in their later albums. I find this album to be a great debut, and a great example of how nu-metal can be done right.

What a classy title for the opening track

The song has the exact opposite message to what the title suggests. It created some controversy in 1993 but I am pretty sure it wouldn't even make the cut in a 2021 album.

You just know there's a way-too-honest person out there and it's their biggest fear being asked in a public setting to name their favorite song, because the answer is this album's opening track.

As catchy as the song is I always found the lyrics really cheesy and and cringy. And as black man I give you all a N word pass to either sing or say this as your favorite song. A gift from someone that usually doesn't give much of a fuck who says it anyways.
