Opening track revealed...

The production is a bit off here, not that I was expecting it to sound oldschool or something, but the guitars sound quite bad

This is good, better as 1th his one, amazing peace, i like it, great Day for fire

Decent, maybe not as good as the debut, but it's a good listen. The title track is textbook Abbath; mid-paced with a plodding riff.

Good, but could be better. I just wish he stayed with Immortal.

Quite listenable. Still, most of it is blackened heavy metal, and a bit away from the trve kvlt.

My screen is so dark on the charts it made the album look like it was called Customer.

Just a tad bit better then the last one

Shades of Sons of Northern Darkness, but it doesn't ever reach anywhere close to that level. You can tell Abbath has learned a lot from Demonaz when it comes to songwriting, and that he also has a long way to go. The style and sound is straight out of 2005, which may be why it sounds so uninspired. The guitar solos aren't really anything to write home about and the rest of the musicians are just kind of there. At least the bass gets some love in the mix. Until his songs feature more dynamic writing, this new project won't be anything more than Immortal-lite.

I like this record just as much as the first if not a bit more. Of course Abbath will always be compared to Immortal but this is likely the very music that would have the Immortal name attached to it minus lyrics.
