Biography
Stranger Vision is an Italian power metal band.
Their sound is based on powerful riffs inspired by thrash metal bands (Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Testament), enriched with melodic and orchestral arrangements, inspired by power metal bands (Helloween, Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Savatage), while their lyrics are based on literature and poetry.
The first full-length album Poetica was released in March 2021 on Pride And Joy Music. The album was recorded at Domination Studio, San Marino, from June to August 2020 by Simone Bertozzi, who is also the guitar player in Ancient Bards. The mix and master were done in September 2020 by Simone Mularoni, who is also the leader and guitar player of DGM. The album features Fabio Dessi (Arthemis), Alessia Scolletti (Temperance), Guido Benedetti & Alessandro Conti (Trick Or Treat), and Zak Stevens (Savatage).
The second album Wasteland is coming out in November 2022. Exactly 100 years after its first publication, Wasteland is a concept album celebrating Thomas Stearns Eliot’s eponymous poem, published in 1922, which is considered one of the great masterpieces of modern poetry. Wasteland features Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian) and Tom S. Englund (Evergrey).
