The production on it always makes me think of Perdition City and vice versa. Both killer albums.

I have not seen Portishead live. But a few months ago I saw Beth Gibbons solo tour and They performed ”Roads”. Cried like a baby. Perfection!

Easily in my top ten non-metal albums of the 90s… or maybe even top 10 non-metal albums of all time. Man this album slays and has been the soundtrack for some precious moments in my life.
