Arch Enemy - To Release Single And Cover Compilation
Arch Enemy have announced two new releases. First, they will release a strictly limited, hand-numbered 7inch single and a digital single for their song "Reason To Believe" on December 7th, 2018 through Century Media Records! Both formats, physical and digital, feature the cover song "Shout" (Tear For Fears) as a b-side. Moreover, on January 18th, 2019, the band will also release a compilation of all cover songs they have recorded throughout their career, called Covered In Blood. More details will follow soon.

Excalion - New Album Coming
Dream Alive, the latest Excalion album, came out last year but the Finnish power metallers are at it again. According to the group, they are already preparing a new studio album and the recordings are taking place at Watercastle Studio. They also shared a few clips on their Facebook page.

Tygers Of Pan Tang - New Live Album Coming
On December 21st, Mighty Music will release Tygers Of Pan Tang's Hellbound Spellbound Live 1981, remixed and remastered, featuring the band's classic lineup. The show was originally recorded live by Chris Tsangarides at Nottingham Rock City in 1981 and was remixed and remastered by Søren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp) in October at the Medley Studios in Denmark.

Michael Monroe - New Album Coming
Good news for glam metal fans, because Finnish icon Michael Monroe, most known for his work with Hanoi Rocks, will release his new solo album, One Man Gang, in the spring, it has been announced. The follow-up to 2015's Blackout States, which is currently being mastered, features guest appearances by ex-Michael Monroe guitarist Nasty Suicide and The Damned legend Captain Sensible.

Misery Index - Complete Work On New Album
Maryland-based death metal/grindcore band Misery Index has completed work on their new studio album. The follow-up to 2014' release The Killing Gods was recorded this past summer with Erik Rutan (of Hate Eternal) engineering and producing. Season Of Mist will release the new effort in March, 2019, with further details to be delievered in the coming weeks.

Remember when a hologram of late heavy metal legendary singer Ronnie James Dio set out on a world tour, backed by musicians who played with him? Well, there will be more of that in 2019. Billboard is reporting that Eyellusion, the hologram company behind touring shows for Ronnie James Dio, Frank Zappa and pianist Glenn Gould, has signed with the Agency for the Performing Arts for more than 100 Dio Returns shows in 2019. Also appearing are former Judas Priest singer Tim "Ripper" Owens and ex-Lynch Mob frontman Oni Logan.
