Coronatus - New Album Artwork And Tracklist Revealed

German gothic metallers Coronatus have revealed the artwork of their new upcoming album Fabula Magna. The album will be released via Massacre Records on 18 December.

At the beginning of this month, Coronatus went through another line up change as Ada Flechtner left the band to devote full attention to her studies. At the side of Carmen R. Lorch (formerly Carmen R. Schäfer), Coronatus' new frontwoman is Lisa Lasch, 19 years young. Her mother is also a singer and Lisa has been performing in musicals in her hometown. In her first concert appearances at the Metal Female Voice Festival on 18.10.2009 and at the Metalfest on 24.10.2009 Lisa surprised the audience with her very good full rocking voice.

Fabula Magna cover art] tracklist:

01. Blind.
02. Flying By (alone)
03. Der Fluch
04. Josy
05. Kristallklares Wasser
06. Der Letzte Tanz
07. Els Carmen
08. Tantalos
09. Wolfstanz
10. Geisterkirche
11. How Far Will You Go

The album will also feature two bonus tracks. A special acoustic version and a remastered version of two songs from our first album "Lux Noctis", of course, both songs with the new singer Lisa.

Den Saakaldte - Sign With Pulverised Records

Official press release

Pulverised Records is very pleased to announce the official signing of Norwegian Black Metallers Den Saakaldte!

Consisting of some of Black Metal's most notorious and prolific musicians and founded by main songwriter / guitarist Sykelig (ex-Gorgoroth session guitar player), Den Saakaldte previously released the monumental debut Øl, Mørke Og Depresjon (which translates to "Beer, Darkness And Depression") and also in early 2009 with the remarkably depressive full-length effort All Hail Pessimism, that eventually instituted the band a lot of positive rave reviews and exceptional attention worldwide.

Comments Den Saakaldte's founder / guitar player Mikael Sykelig: "We are proud to announce that Den Saakaldte's new record label is to be Pulverised Records. In our opinion, Pulverised is currently one of the most upcoming labels you can find. They work hard for their bands, and just seeing the names that they have on their roster is enough to know that their goals, and standards, are set very high indeed. We are delighted that our new album will be released on Pulverised, especially at a time when the label is going from strength to strength, and very much look forward to working closely with them."

Pulverised Records A&R Manager Calvin states: "It was quite a pleasant surprise when the email came in from Mikael, and he was wondering if there would be a possibility of us working together for their new album. Den Saakaldte very quickly established their reputation in the scene in just a period of a few years since their formation, and it was obvious that the band had already became a force to be reckoned with. There was not a single doubt about signing Den Saakaldte and an agreement was worked out almost immediately. We have absolute confidence that the band will outdo themselves and create yet another phenomenal follow-up full-length effort, filled with utter anguish and despondency."

Den Saakaldte's forthcoming album and first with Pulverised Records, will be entitled as Kapittel II: Faen I Helvete, scheduled for release Fall of 2010.

Den Saakaldte recently announced a line-up change in the ranks, with drummer Jarle "Uruz" Byberg (ex-Shining, ex-Urgehal) leaving the band. Further details on the replacement of the new drummer will be made soon.

In other Den Saakaldte-related news, the band will be part of the "Skandinavisk Pessimisme Omringer Europa Tour", touring alongside Troll and Sargeist from March 2010 onwards.

Mar De Grises - To Re-Release First Demo

Firebox Records are re-releasing Mar De Grises' first demo, released in the early 2000's, as a digipack.

First River Regards recalls the bands first ever recordings in a special edition for their fans with their only rehersal/demo plus an extract of their stellar participation at the famed Doom Shall Rise festival in Göppingen, Germany in 2005.

The band comments: "The honest intention of making the music that we love is what magically gathers us together. We invite you to be part of this intense feeling and scream forth from the end of the earth, forgetting for one moment how ephemeral this life can be as this is what feeds our emotions. This re-edition is a vestige of the material that came to life as a simple rehearsal and without major pretentions, took us across continents. It is specially dedicated to those who have supported us since the beginning and to those who have found a place within these sounds to share their feelings."

First River Regards album art] tracklist:

01. Storm
02. Recklessness
03. Mar De Grises
04. For Just An Eternity

Bonus multimedia: Live at Doom Shall Rise Festival III
05. Storm
