Roadburn Festival 2017 - New Names Revealed

Are you waiting to hear new band confirmations for Roadburn Festival 2017? Well, here they are! After announcing Baroness, Les Discrets, Oranssi Pazuzu, Warning, Schammasch, Zeal And Ardor, among others, today a new announcement was made and it includes some special sets. Deafheaven will make their long awaited debut at Roadburn while SubRosa will perform their latest album, For This We Fought The Battle Of Ages in full, plus a special "SubRosa - Subdued" set. Chelsea Wolfe, Magma, Mysticum, Ahab (playing The Call Of The Wretched Sea in full), Aluk Todolo (playing Voix in full), Inter Arma, Leif Edling's The Doomsday Kingdom are also among the confirmed acts.

Trivium - To Re-Release Debut Album

If you are into Trivium and particularly their debut album, Ember To Inferno, take note. The band is re-releasing the 2003 record. Ember To Inferno: Ab Initio, which contains the debut album plus 13 previously unavailable demos, will be out on December 2nd.

ProgPower USA XVIII - Haken, Orphaned Land, Vanden Plas And More Confirmed

The ProgPower USA XVIII in Atlanta is already sold out for the September 8-9, 2017 days. However, the organizers just started announcing the bands that will perform on Days 1 & 2, between September 6-7, 2017 and so far, it's looking good! Between The Buried And Me, Haken, Metal Church, Orphaned Land, Power Quest, Serenity, Twilight Force and Vanden Plas have all been confirmed.

Voyager - To Hit The Studio, Teaser Released

Good news coming in from Voyager! Two years ago, the Aussies released the album V, but the progressive metallers are already preparing their next release. The group has finished the writing process for album number 6 and will hit the studio to start recording in just under 3 weeks. Twilight Force - Share New Video

Swedish adventurers Twilight Force released their Nuclear Blast debut, Heroes Of Mighty Magic, on August 26th. While on tour with melodic metal titans Sonata Arctica, the band reveals their very first music video in the Force's history. My Dying Bride - Announce Special Book/Disc Set

Doomsters My Dying Bride are marking their 25th anniversary with a special release. The group released their debut album, As The Flower Withers, on Peaceville Records back in 1992. Their next release will be A Harvest Of Dread, a limited edition deluxe hard book featuring a 92 page book written by Greg Moffitt chronicling the rise of the long-standing genre leaders from their beginnings in West Yorkshire, UK, through their ascension towards becoming one of the UK's primary metal forces, along with a look into why and how their creative vision and attitude has been so unwavering over the years.

Emmure - New Track Online, New Album In 2017

Emmure are back and have released a new song! Last year, vocalist Frankie Palmeri was left alone in the band after a mass exodus of members but he vowed to continue and work on a new album. Nightwish - Share Clip From Upcoming DVD

Symphonic metal heavyweights Nightwish have unveiled the first clip from their new live milestone, Vehicle Of Spirit, due out on December 9th, featuring not only two full concerts, but also plenty of bonus material. Today, the band presents the first live video clip and it's the opening track "Shudder Before The Beautiful" off of Endless Forms Most Beautiful, recorded at the Wembley Show in London.
