Verni - Streaming New Songs

Legendary Overkill bassist D.D. Verni launched solo project/band earlier this year, under the name Verni. Now, his self-titled band announce the release of their debut album, to be entitled Barricade. It will be out in stores on October 12th via Mighty Music. Additionally, the band also premiere couple of new tracks, ''Lost In The Underground'' and ''Fire Up", both available for streaming down below.

Waylander - Bassist Leaves The Band

British folk metallers Waylander, who are currently working hard on their upcoming full length and should be released later this year, confirmed that their long time bassist Michael Proctor left the band. Michael was part of the band for the last 23 year, and gave his effort on all four studio albums that band released through the career. Waylander have already announced Steve Reynolds (ex-Sorrowfall) as the replacement for Michael.

Septicflesh - To Record Live DVD With Orchestra And Choir In Mexico

Septicflesh recently signed a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast and they now have very exciting news for their fans. Gehenna - Former Drummer Jan Egil Fosse Dies

Jan Egil Fosse, also known as Blod, has passed away. He was the drummer of black metal bands like Gehenna from 1998 to 2001 and Tsjuder from 1998 to 1999, and he was still active in a few bands like extreme metallers The Deviant. Born in 1975, he died on September 4th 2018.

Long Distance Calling - Launch New Video, Announce Tour

German post-rock powerhouse Long Distance Calling released their sixth studio album Boundless earlier this year, and followed it with European headline dates. The Sword - Going On Hiatus

Texas stoner metal outfit The Sword has announced plans to take a break directly following their upcomign U.S. shows. As such, the band has scrapped their late October tour dates in Australia. The Sword released their latest record, Used Future, in March, 2018 through Razor & Tie.

Arsis - Share New Album Details With New Song/Video

U.S. tech-death metallers, Arsis, have been hard at work on a new album since joining Agonia Records. As of September 6th, they have announced the title of their newest album, Visitant, is to be released via Nuclear Blast Records and Agonia Records on November 2nd.
