Trivium - To Tour With Sabaton And Huntress

Trivium are embarking on a new North American tour. The Silence In The Snow tour will be back to the States this fall with Sabaton and Huntress in tow. Tickets go on-sale this Saturday. Drowning Pool - To Perform With 82-Year-Old Fan

Drowning Pool will have a special guest appearance on their upcoming performance at the Chicago Open Air. The 82-year-old Navy veteran and aerospace manager John Hetlinger performed their hit "Bodies" on the NBC competition show America's Got Talent and the video went viral. Shortly after, Drowning Pool's guitarist CJ Pierce chatted with Entertainment Weekly, inviting Hetlinger to perform during an upcoming set at Chicago Open Air. Hetlinger replied on Twitter accepting the invitation, and now it's happening! It should be entertaining.

Red Fang - Reveal New Album Details And New Song

Red Fang have plenty of news to share today and also new music! The stoner metallers re-emerge with their latest full-length album, Only Ghosts. Produced by the legendary Ross Robinson (At The Drive In, The Cure, Slipknot, and many more) and mixed by Joe Baressi (Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss, Melvins), the album consists of 10 new tracks of the band's signature sound. Dark Tranquillity - Share New Album Title, Cover And More

Finally, some news regarding Dark Tranquillity's new album! In fact, now we know the title, release date and how the album cover looks like. The follow-up to Construct will drop on November 4th, 2016 through Century Media Records. It's called Atoma and the Swedish metallers are currently recording it. Beardfish - Break Up

It's a sad moment for prog rock fans as Beardfish just announced that they are breaking up. The talented Swedish group cited "disagreements and various difficulties within the band" as the reason they are calling it quits. +4626-COMFORTZONE will then be their swansong. The members will venture into other musical projects now.

Frontiers Music Srl just announced the singing of Shadowspell, a new melodic metal act born from a collaboration between Italian guitarist/songwriter Aldo Lonobile of power/progressive band Secret Sphere and vocalist Nils K. Rue of Norwegian progressive metal giants Pagan's Mind. The rest of the super group line-up features Symphony X bassist Mike LePond, ex-Gamma Ray ex-Helloween/ex-Masterplan drummer Uli Kusch and former bandmate of Lonobile in Secret Sphere, Antonio Agate (ex-Odd Dimension).

Mötley Crüe - Release Clip From The End Movie

You can now watch Mötley Crüe performing the hit "Girls, Girls, Girls" at what was their last ever show. The legendary band has released a video of their performance of "Girls, Girls, Girls" from their film "The End". Mötley Crüe completed their 35-year touring career as a band with a spectacular final concert at Staples Center in their hometown of Los Angeles. The movie was shown in U.S. cinemas last month and will eventually be released on DVD.

Lotus Thief - Join Prophecy Productions, New Album Coming

The experimental group Lotus Thief has signed with Prophecy Productions and will release its new album, Gramarye on the label. Originated by Botanist's drummer Otrebor and multi-instrumentalist/composer Bezaelith, the band takes its name from the Lotus-eaters in Homer's epic poem, "Odyssey". Lotus Thief released its first album, Rervm, in 2014 to strong fan and critical acclaim. Now, two years after that, they are set to release its second album this fall via Prophecy Productions.
