Norwegian black metal blasphemers Ragnarok have announced that they have lost their former bassist Jerv, real name Tom Richardsen. According to them, he died in a car accident. He was also a co-founder of the band and was only 40.

Accept - Unveil New Album Artwork
German heavy metal pioneers Accept have just unveiled the album artwork for their upcoming album, The Rise Of Chaos. The artwork made by Hungarian artist Gyula Havancsák features Accept's stage set, only now seen as if it were destroyed. The Rise Of Chaos will be released on August 4th through Nuclear Blast Records. The day before the release, Accept will play a special show at Wacken Open Air consisting of three parts. A setlist with new and old hits, the second part features solo material from Wolf Hoffmann and the Czech National Symphonic Orchestra and finally the third part will consist of all these elements brought together.
