Massacre - Reveal Tracklist For New Album

Florida-based death metallers Massacre are about to release their new album after 18 years and it will be called Back From Beyond. Massacre has reunited in late 2011 with the line-up of Terry Butler on bass, Rick Rozz on guitar, Mike Mazzonetto behind the drums, and Ed Webb as vocalist. Below you can find the tracklist for the new album, which will be released in March this year via Century Media Records.

Den Saakaldte - Enter Studio In February

Norwegian black metal legion Den Saakaldte will have a busy schedule in the next few months. The band's debut album All Hail Pessimism is finally being re-released on February 17th, for the first time in vinyl format via Agonia Records. The first 50 copies come as a deep purple vinyl and 200 copies as black. Both available in a double gatefold sleeve (2xLP). Metallica - Performing At Grammy Awards With Pianist Lang Lang

Metallica have been invited to perform at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on January 26th. The group's Through The Never soundtrack is nominated for Best Recording Package and Metallica will be performing with Chinese pianist Lang Lang. They promise this will be a special performance. The Americans haven't performed in the Grammy Awards since 1992.

Barren Earth - New Vocalist Announced

Following the departure of Mikko Kotamäki due to conflicting schedules a few months ago, Barren Earth had been looking for a new singer while working on new material, which has been described as "mournful, winding, hopeful, ambitious and rugged". They've just announced that Jón Aldará, Hamferð's vocalist, will join them as the new lead vocalist. He will take part in Barren Earth's third full-length album which the group plans to start recording during the spring of 2014.
