Black Oath - Member Forms New Band
There is a new band in town called NUN and it features members of Black Oath, Opera IX, Extirpation and Mefitic. According to the group, NUN's first release is turning out great and extremely dark, with 12 minutes of ancient doomed black metal. Final mix/mastering will be done once again at Toxic Basement Studio.

Dark Tranquillity - Confirm New Shows In Europe
Dark Tranquillity continue to be very active in terms of live shows. After a big North American tour with Amorphis, Moonspell and Omnium Gatherum, the Swedish Gothenburg metallers confirmed today that they will play new shows in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. These shows will take place in February 2019.

October Tide - To Begin Recording New Album
Good news for death/doom metal fans as Swedish doomsters October Tide are currently working on a new album. Mastermind Fredrik Norrman reports that the band has been writing songs for their sixth studio album, follow-up to Winged Waltz from 2016, and has booked a studio for the end of November, to start the recording process.

Aerosmith - Joe Perry Rushed To The Hospital
Aerosmith's guitarist Joe Perry was wheeled out of Madison Square Garden on a stretcher Saturday night after performing with Billy Joel, TMZ reports. Eyewitnesses reported that Joe had just finished "Walk This Way" with Billy Joel onstage and went back to his dressing room. A source connected with the concert revealed that Joe collapsed and "looked terrible."

Mob Rules - To Embark On Tour With Brainstorm

Michael Monroe - New Album Coming
Good news for glam metal fans, because Finnish icon Michael Monroe, most known for his work with Hanoi Rocks, will release his new solo album, One Man Gang, in the spring, it has been announced. The follow-up to 2015's Blackout States, which is currently being mastered, features guest appearances by ex-Michael Monroe guitarist Nasty Suicide and The Damned legend Captain Sensible.

Accidental Suicide - Frontman Dies
American death/doom act Accidental Suicide released one album, Deceased, in 1992 and then vanished. In 1993, the band recorded a four track EP, Dead Erotica, that was never released until last year on Vic Records. However, recently it was announced that their frontman and vocalist Ed Jackson has died. He was also a tattoo artist in Wisconsin.
