Tankard - Re-Sign To Nuclear Blast

Beer drinking thrashers Tankard have signed a new contract with Nuclear Blast. The band experienced their second wind after signing their first deal with the Swabian label back in 2012. The union saw the albums A Girl Called Cerveza, R.I.B. and One Foot In The Grave becoming some of the most successful albums in the band's history. A new album is planned for 2020.

Skálmöld - To Perform With Iceland Symphony Orchestra

Icelandic metal sons Skálmöld have announced two special shows with the Iceland symphonic orchestra on August 24th and 25th, 2018 in Reykjavík. Five years ago, the folk metallers played three epic and sold out shows with the symphony orchestra.

Serpent Venom - Show Cancelled

Serpent Venom have cancelled their upcoming show in Camden, London, where Desolate Pathway were also set to perform. The doom metallers are currently writing a new album but were forced to cancel this date. However, they promise to reschedule the show in the future.

Danzig - To Embark On European Summer Tour

At the end of a dirty black summer, American misfit Danzig will play 8 shows in Europe. 2018 marks the 30 year anniversary for Danzig and to commemorate the occasion, the band will be performing a limited number of special shows in the U.S. and Europe. The European dates start on August 2nd at Wacken Open Air where Danzig will headline one of the stages.

Crematory - Threaten To End Band After Low CDs, Ticket Sales

German gothic metallers Crematory have called out their "lazy" fans for not buying tickets to the band's upcoming tour in support of the new album, Oblivion, and have threatened to break up unless "metalheads start honoring the value of real music and come back to spending money on artists' physical product."

Orphaned Land - Full Documentary Available Online

Israeli band Orphaned Land just shared new a documentary online. Germany's "Rockpalast" has produced a one-hour documentary called "All Is One" on the progressive folk metallers. "All Is One" is more than the name of one of Orphaned Land's albums. It is the quintet's philosophy claiming that all three big religious groups - Christians, Muslims and Jews - are coming from the same origin. German filmmakers Ingo Schmoll and Conny Schiffbauer visited Israel to follow the band's path and to get a personal insight view into the musician's life by visiting the band members at home, getting to know their families and learning about their daily lives. It's worth watching below.

Grift - Home Town Festival Announced

Swedish black metal melancholics Grift have announced the event Tredingsriten at their home town of Kinnekulle. It is set for August 4th and the band will invite friends to do exclusive performances at the festival. Dark Embrace - Barcelona Gig Cancelled Because Of Football Match

Galicia doom metallers Dark Embrace announced that their Barcelona gig set for May 6th supporting Masterplan has been cancelled due to the football game between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The show was set to happen at the same time as the match but as the organizers explained, it would've been counterproductive to have the show at that time.
